Good morning...afternoon...evening where ever you are!
I'm approaching the end of my first semester at university and it kinda feels good to know that im 1/6th through my degree! I have two exams left to go and then I have three months off...the question now is, what to do with my summer? I would like to find a job but I would also like to have a bit of a break. So, I think I will try and do both.
Well...I feel like my blog is sooooooooooooooooooooo dang boring so I would like to know what I should write about from you. Who ever you are, cyberspace friends, or noone. emptiness. void.
Let me know because I want to get something down but I have a block, or my life just really isn't that interesting. I'm guessing the latter.
Over n out! <3 Prue

Meeting Jesus

As you may know, I started university this week. Its been a time filled with adventure, fun and challenge. I have made friends and been introduced to different topics to do with children's learning and subjects.
One paper I am taking is called Diversity and Learning. Today in class we did an exercise which posed this question.
"If you could meet one significant person, dead or alive, who would you choose?"
"Why, would you want to meet this person?"
"What is one question you would ask them?"
Who would you choose??
There are many different people out there who would be amazing to meet, and so many significant people who make an impact or impression on our lives. It is common in a class for someone to say Jesus Christ. My first thought was that it would be cool to meet Jesus, and I did hear it floating around as the discussions in groups/pairs progressed. When I did hear someone mention it outloud to some other students I immediately thought..."I have already met Jesus" Isn't it true though. As followers of Jesus Christ we have met the Risen Son. Jesus is not DEAD! He is alive and well and working through his children. We have the ability to meet with a God who is a personal being and can relate to us and our challenges in life which everyone faces.

So...
So...Welcome to my Blog.
Its winter and not so nice, but today was a good day. There was blue in the sky and no rain-although it was terribly cold. Brrrrr!!! We need to wrap up nice in warm if we dont wanna get sick. I just cant help but wonder, we feel so good on a bright sunny day, but is this just because we have something to compare it to? If we didnt have the dull, grey, rainy days which put people in a miserable mood which then affects everyone around would we still feel so good on the days which are nice? Although I am one to love staying inside on a stormy day wrapped up infront of the heater - or even better - a fire!! There are some day which are just so miserable. Dreary. Cold. Dont want to get out of bed days. I say lets smell the flowers, and look at what awesome things are happening even if it is grey and the weather sucks. Every season has its ups and downs. Life does too, lets take the best things out of every up and down and think about it, rest upon it, let it sink into our souls.
